Well, we made it back safe and sound. It is hard leaving, but there is also nothing like home.
Thursday morning we left camp around 8:30 to head out. Our first stop was Villa Hidalgo, a town about 45 minutes from camp where we were in the home of one family. They have two cute 6 year old twins and a couple of teen age boys too. We still did our whole story and it was nice to have a small group where you could ask questions and see that they really got the message.
By 10:00 we were on our way to San Luis Potosi to hook up with our friends of Daniel and Claudia Llamas and the girls.
After meeting in the Wal-Mart parking lot to give them gifts, we all went to a wonderful place for gorditas. We had a wonderful time visiting and playing around with the girls. We probably taught Valeria some improper table matters as we played around, but it sure was fun! The Llamas family is
moving from San Luis to Piedras Negras as Daniel will be teaching at the college there. He starts his first classes the first week of January. Pray for this family is they make the transition and begin a new ministry.
From San Luis we headed to Doctor Arroyo with a couple of stops for pottery along the way. Joseph really took advantage of having a trailer with us, but we all bought something. We arrived at D.A. just after 5 to around 70 kids

with their parents waiting for us. It was a great time of classes, making cards for parents, and receiving their gift bags. We even had tamales afterwards. When we left the church we went to Lazaro and Pina's house to leave them the rest of the gift bags

to give out at their other church and to spend the night. Since Adriana went with us, she said she was going to squeeze every last song out of us before we left. We sat around and sang until 10 when we finally turned in for the night. By 6:00 yesterday morning we were on the road home.

We didn't have any major problems on the way home, just an inspection at the border from someone that needed a little more holiday spirit! Before 12:00 we arrived safely at the church to begin unpacking and delivering everyone home for a nice hot shower and some rest.
This project is not possible without each and everyone of you. From the prayers, to the bags stuffed to the money contributed, it is all because of you that 1000+ children received the message of Christ and gift bags. We thank you for all you did to make this possible, and we pray you and your family have a wonderful Christmas remembering the true meaning for the season and the greatest gift ever given - Jesus Christ.
