| Jamaica Relief Update |
SOAR thanks everyone who participated in the hurricane relief project for Jamaica. Your response to the need was tremendous. Financial donations were used not only to cover the cost of getting the food and clothing donations to Jamaica, but also to help rebuild and repair homes and assist families in the Ashley community. Also, the boxes of food and clothing have arrived at the camp in Kingston and are in the process of being distributed. We had an opportunity to speak with Winston Scott of Jamaica Christian Mission while at the NMC last week. He expressed his thanks for your love and assistance during the hurricane season. SOAR is looking forward to ways we can partner with JCM in the future. Let us all together give praise to God for the opportunity to serve in the name and love of Jesus. |

We leave in less than 1 month. It is hard to believe the time is upon us with so much left to do these last couple of weeks. We are still collecting filled bags to be distributed. It's not too late to join in. If you don't have a bag and just want to purchase art supplies and small toys, we can fill them in bags we have. We are also still collecting stuffed animals and deflated sports balls. All items need to be in by December 5 so we can get them sorted and packed. There will be 6 of us driving to Mexico December 13 - 22, and each of us is collecting funds to help offset the cost of the gas, tolls, and other travel costs of the trip. If you would like to contribute to this project, send checks made payable to SOAR Ministries, Inc. to 1384 Meadow Springs Dr. Lilburn, GA 30047. Mark the memo for Angel Tree. I can't wait to see all the smiling faces of the children and their parents and report back to all of you what God does!
