Teams for 2020
Mexico - Dates: July 21 - 28 -
Project: Helping with Family Camp with possible hands on work in the elderly home, painting, finishing carpentry, sewing curtains, working with the Bethshean Mexico Mission
Age Requirements: High school and above, younger with a parent/guardian
Skill requirements: love of kids, willingness to do physical work even if unskilled. Would love some members to have skills of carpentry, painting and sewing
Mode of transportation: Plane and van
Accommodations: camp setting, bunk beds
Cost: $1100 - depends on airfare
MC3members may apply for a scholarship of up to 20% of the cost of the trip based on available funds.
Added notes: This is a team started by Beechwold CC in OH. We would be working along with them.
New York - Dates: July 14- 21
Project: VBS for the Indian Christian Church
Age requirements: Middle School and above, younger with parent/guardian
Skill requirements: Love of kids, some teachers for VBS, others willing to do about anything
Mode of transportation: Van ride - some may choose to fly
Accommodations: hotel
Cost: $600 if only driving, more if flying
MC3 members may apply for a scholarship of up to 20% of the cost of the trip based on available funds.
Angel Bags (December 26-January 4) (Unfortunately the team to go and help with the bags in Mexico has been cancelled due to the pandemic)
Project: Give out the Angel Bags at different locations
Age requirements: 7 - 100. Younger children must be with parent/guardian and take directions
