Our Board of Directors
SOAR Ministries welcomes our newly elected 2019 board members: Ceceila and Mike Robbins, and Lin Hill. We are looking forward to seeing what God has planned for SOAR.
Gisela Escobedo has worked with SOAR for many years on the field in Mexico and now in Georgia. Her husband is the Hispanic Minister for Mableton Christian Church. Presently besides being part of the Hispanic Ministry work she also works for Cobb County Board of Education at a local school. Gisela's heart is for those that don't know our Lord Jesus Christ and to help them find Him. (email: gisela@soarministries.org)
Carlos Guerra, Treasurer, has been on our board for 3 years. He and his family have been on missions with SOAR for years. He is from Pannama and has several degrees ranging from Engineering to Masters in Theology. (email: carlos@soarministries.org)
Lin Hill (New Board Member). lin@soarministries.org
Sharon Joseph has worked with other non-profits and she has been on a mission to India with SOAR. She has a Christian evangelistic background and a passion for others to accept Christ as their Savior. Presently she works for McKinney Inc. in Atlanta. (email: sharon@soarministries.org)
Hollie Macenzak, Secretary and Adam Macenzak, Co-Chair, were missionaries on the field in Honduras. They worked with AFE for many years and returned home in 2016. They worked with SOAR as their forwarding agent while on the field. Presently Adam is a manager at a Chick-fa-la and Hollie works as a nurse for a medical lab. Adam, Hollie and their two children have a huge heart for missions and want others to see what God is doing through missions. (adam@soarministries.org) (hollie@soarministries.org)
Mike Robbins and Cecelia Sanders Robbins are the newest members of SOAR board. Mike is an aircraft mechanic and Cecelia is a biologist/program analyst. They have five children and two grandchildren, and have lived in the Parkview area for 15 years. They bring their analytical and problem solving skills to the board. Keri Duncan, Executive Director. Keri decided to resign from the board to focus more on the Executive Director roll of teams, training, and the daily operation of the mission. She had been a board member since the beginning of SOAR in 1999. Her heart is that everyone around the world should have an opportunity to hear the Gospel message and that they may hear it through a SOAR team. (email: kerid@soarministries.org)
